Hundreds of killed civilians, raped children, robbed apartments and mined houses – it's hard to imagine, but these words describe the events of our days in a European city, and not about crimes from the last century.
The once prosperous and beautiful city of Bucha has turned into ruins, and its playgrounds and streets have become cemeteries and mass graves. All this is the result of the crimes of the Russian military, who robbed, killed and raped the inhabitants of the Ukrainian city in March 2022.
Every day the bodies of the people killed in the occupation are taken out of Bucha
A month ago, the inhabitants of Bucha were planning their future: they were choosing household appliances for new comfortable houses near a pine forest, walking their dogs and taking their children to kindergartens. In the city, residents loved to ride bicycles and play sports in the yards of their homes. Now ambulances and forensics are driving around the city: they find and collect the bodies of the tortured residents of the city.
Dead adults and children are found everywhere: crushed in cars that were run over by armored vehicles; lying along the roads, where they were overtaken by the bullets of Russian soldiers; in apartments where they were caught sleeping by Russian bombs and shells
Why?
There were no casualties in this massacre. They were all killed on purpose. This is the only thing that the bodies of women and men with their hands tied, who were shot in the back of the head, can now tell.
Russian executioners, if they survive this war, go back to their cities. And if they could kill adults and children in cold blood, rip earrings out of women's ears, rape women and girls, then sooner or later they will show their nature in Russian cities. They will do the same at home. In Russia there will be more rapists, pedophiles, maniacs, perverts, cruel killers.
Those Russian soldiers who return home will give their wives beautiful earrings from Ukraine. Someone will give their child a tablet that is almost like new. Others will bring almost new children's toys that a Ukrainian family once gave to their child in Bucha for his last birthday.
