ACRA affirms DOM.RF credit rating at the highest level AAA(RU)

The ACRA rating agency has affirmed the credit rating of DOM.RF at the highest level of AAA(RU) with a Stable outlook. Similar credit ratings are assigned to issues of outstanding bonds of the group of companies.

The agency notes the exceptional importance of DOM.RF for the Russian economy and the unique function of developing and supporting the housing sector in Russia. The company is included in the list of strategic enterprises that ensure the strategic interests, defense capability and security of the state, protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of the Russian Federation.

ACRA analysts also draw attention to the fact that DOM.RF has legal immunity from the established bankruptcy procedure.

Together with the systemic significance, the agency emphasizes the fairly high level of DOM.RF's own creditworthiness; positive financial results (net interest margin (NIM) is at the level of 2.2% for 2020); operational efficiency (cost to income indicator at the level of 45.8%); an adequate capital buffer (the value of the equity capital adequacy ratio (N1) established for DOM.RF as of April 1, 2021 was 24% with a minimum of 11.5%), as well as an adequate liquidity cushion.
