The Mitsubishi Outlander crossover and the Pajero Sport SUV for Russia received a built-in Yandex.Auto media system. According to the local branch of Mitsubishi Motors, cars with such equipment will be on sale from March.
The system from Yandex is installed at the plant in Kaluga (both models are produced there). It is included in the Outlander Intense+ and Instyle trims and all diesel Pajero Sport trims in the Instyle trim.
The Yandex.Auto functions are a navigator, a music streaming service, paying for fuel from a car using the Yandex.Fueling service, as well as Yandex.Browser. All functions can be controlled by voice – with the help of Alice's voice assistant.
On-board computer Yandex allows you to personalize the car – on the screen there will always be favorite addresses, frequent routes and familiar music. The Auto interface is adapted for use in a car: the system has large icons and a navigation widget that is always displayed on the screen.
After buying a car and activating services, a 4G modem provides Internet connection, which allows you to update all applications for free. The package includes unlimited traffic to the services Yandex.Music, Yandex.Navigator, Yandex.Zapravki and additional 2 GB per month.
The introduction of Yandex.Auto at Mitsubishi will not affect the cost of cars.
